Poor guy. He worked long and hard to become the world’s premiere supplier of all kinds of drugs, he disposed of the competition, bribed the judges and the prosecutors, probably paid off thousands of Mexican cops and who do they send to interview him? Sean Penn. Fricking Sean Penn.
And what happens to El Chapo just a few months after giving an interview to one of the most pretentious and sanctimonious figures in Hollywood (which is no small feat)? The poor guy gets arrested.
Probably the most interesting thing about the interview is El Chapo’s answer to the question about Donald Trump to which he answered that Trump was “Mi amigo”. Are the two really friends or do jerks just have this unspoken bond?
